The top of Skjoldnæs Lighthouse
From the top of Skjoldnæs Lighthouse you can experience the magnificent views of the Baltic Sea, the Little Belt and the South Funen Archipelago at the same time.
If you drive north on Ærø and through the small village of Haven, you will come to one of the country's most beautiful lighthouses, Skjoldnæs Lighthouse, which still flashes its warning out across the water at night.
Built in 1881, the lighthouse is 22 metres high, and the round building is made of Bornholm granite.
From the top of the tower, there is a magnificent view in clear weather, taking in the Baltic Sea, the waters of the Little Belt and the South Funen Archipelago.
In the area around the lighthouse, Ærø Golf Club has laid out one of Europe's most beautifully situated seaside golf courses.
It costs DKK 20 to go up the tower.
